Elke € 30,- that you donate is deployed directly to prepare one young person to take action. Through this, they gain access to a powerful discipleship track, mentoring, and the practical tools needed to take to the streets full of faith or leave for abroad.

Why does THE SEND need my donation?
Thousands of young people don't just want to experience their faith on Sundays, but want to make Jesus visible in their daily lives. THE SEND helps them to turn their ‘YES’ into action. We do this together with churches and partner organisations that guide, train and connect young people to concrete opportunities within five mission areas. Your donation helps to make that movement possible.
Where does my donation go?
Your donation helps THE SEND to reach and mobilise young people to take action. We bring young people together and then help them to take their next step through local churches and partner organisations.
So the aim is not just a moment of inspiration. Young people are connected to concrete next steps in discipleship, training and mission.
What does my donation concretely make possible?
With every €30 you help one young person take the next step: from a ‘YES’ to actually taking action. Together with our partner organisations, we can thus equip thousands of young people to make Jesus visible in their city or village, at school, at work, within law and justice or in world mission.
Do I donate to the ambassador or to THE SEND Nederland?
You are donating to THE SEND Netherlands campaign. An ambassador has a personal fundraising page to collect money, but does not receive the funds directly. Your contribution is processed via Donorbox by Stichting Jeugd met een Opdracht for THE SEND Netherlands.
Why does someone personally raise money for THE SEND?
Because change starts with people who take action themselves. Our ambassadors believe in THE SEND's mission and use their own network to help more young people take their next step. By donating via their personal page, you are helping to achieve the shared goal.
Can I choose how much I donate myself?
Yes. Every contribution is welcome. Whether you give €30, €60, €150 or another amount: together, all donations make it possible to get more young people moving.
Is online donating safe?
Yes. For processing online donations, we use Donorbox. Donorbox uses secure payment technology and works with payment providers to process transactions securely.
Will I receive a confirmation of my donation?
Yes. Following your online donation, you will receive a confirmation/receipt of your gift. Please feel free to keep this for your own records.
How do I know that my contribution is actually making an impact?
THE SEND works together with local churches and more than 25 partner organisations to continue helping young people even after gatherings. Young people can become active within five mission areas and are then helped with things such as discipleship, mentoring, training and concrete opportunities to take action.
How are young people supported after they have given their ‘YES’?
A ‘YES’ is not the end point for us, but the beginning. Young people are connected to churches and partner organisations that help them to put their calling into practice. Depending on their mission field, they get access to guidance, training, discipleship and opportunities to actually take action.
What are the mission fields of THE SEND?
Young people can take action within five areas: Own town or village, Schools & Universities, Law & Justice, Work environment and World mission. This way, every young person can discover where he or she is called to make a difference. Read here more about the mission areas.
